This is how I interpreted my part of the picture. The two large sections were quilted separately and intertwined, then attached to the piece with more quitling. The narrow silver lame strips in the upper right are bias tubes that are only attached at the ends. The black piece has a reverse applique slit to reveal the blue & pink spiral sky behind. The other black sections have a bit of beading. Fifteen inches square.
